Sam Hope - Duathlon - 7 March 2010

It was at Oamaru and there was the option of doing a triathlon or duathlon and if you wanted to do it in a team or by yourself. I chose to do the duathlon by myself. It was a 2k run then a 13k bike ride then a 2.5k run. I did the course in about 56 minutes, and won my age group. I felt I had a good first run and a goodish bike but I struggled with the last run due to a stomach virus. I’m looking forward to doing the Oceania's mountain bike race next weekend.

Jed Leishman - Duathlon - 7 March 2010

I got 3rd in the South Island Duathlon on Sunday.

Sarah Hepburn, Mitchell Fulton and Lachlan McCabe came first in the junior mixed teams duathlon. They were 31st among all the teams and beat the junior boys’ team by two minutes.

Corey Farrell - Hockey Umpiring - 19 March 2010

I achieved my national junior grading for Umpiring Hockey, and have done the level one national grading theory.

Jed Leishman - Adventure Racing -29 March 2010

In the weekend my team came 3rd in the South Island Adventure Racing Champs. You can probably read about it in the Baynet when that comes out.

Sarah Hepburn - Triathalon - 28th March 2010

Sarah, Mitchell Fulton and Lachlan McCabe ame third in their age group for multi-sport/triathlon. They had their problems – bike tyres flat and very low water. They did the course quicker than they thought they would. Mitchell was the swimmer, Lachlan the biker and Sarah ran. This was at Mac Bay. Sarah also came third of all the yr 9 girls in the school Cross Country.
