Year 13 Criteria

Graphics at Level 3 enables students to specialise in a range of design based areas that include Engineering Drawing, Architectural Drawing and Media Design. The course also involves working for an actual client to solve a design problem.

Design briefs will be used and the students are expected to work independently within a self-directed programme supported by the teaching staff. Students will have access to Visual digital media and CAD software as much of their work will use digital media. Some students may access our workshops to develop mock-ups and models of their designs.

The focus of this new approach is to provide pathways into tertiary Design programmes at Polytechnics and Universities.
