General Outline

This course is designed to give students an understanding of the many different aspects of Graphics and Design. With these skills together, and with the help of research, students will be able to succesfully complete their project brief.

In the second year, sudents will be able to build on both computer, and drawing skills. They will learn many new techniques and will be able to put these into use in the projects throughout the year. The projects will cover: Engineering Drawing, Architectural Drawing and Media Design.

The final year of Graphics and Design continues to build on the skills learnt in year 12. The students will get to work on simular projects to those in the previous year. They will get the chance to work with an actual client and solve real design problems like those on the outside world. This course is made to provide pathways into tertiary Design programmes at Polytechnics and Universities.
