Computing is where you will develop your skills with computers and their applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver. These skills are all very important if you plan on doing any career involving computers later on in your life.
As a computing student I can say that the skills I have learned in this class have had multiple uses throughout my time here at Bayfield, both inside and outside the classroom. With the help of computing I was able to raise my 20 words per minute to around 60-70 words per minute. In conjunction with Web Design I have learned how to make flash animations and games as well as create WebPages such as this one you are viewing now.
Taking this subject you are sure to find out all of the fun and useful things that you will be capable of with the skills that you will be learning. Things I have learned in computing allow me to go home and design a webpage or picture, properly format a formal letter, if need be I can also create both databases and spreadsheets. These are all great skills to have when I move on to university because computers will be a more common tool for learning. Computing is both a fun and useful subject to take. I highly recommend it.
